Following headquarters and IT systems modernization in 2020, volunteer leaders and professional staff dedicated themselves in 2021 to modernizing association governance. Most notably, the Governance Task Force, convened in late 2020, blazed the path toward engaging the Board and members. Their efforts bore fruit when, in successive turns, the Board unanimously supported the task force\u2019s recommendations, the membership overwhelmingly voted in favor of revised bylaws in October, and the Executive Committee formally approved them in November. The revised bylaws took effect January 1, 2022, establishing a roadmap for engagement at national and regional levels as the industry works to implement infrastructure legislation.<\/p>\n
