The NAPA Care Emergency Benevolent Fund, which provides an immediate, tax-free $7,500 benefit to affected families of a NAPA member employee who suffers a fatal
accident while working in the line of duty, made two distributions in 2022, bringing the lifetime total since 2012 to 45. Make a Donation
NAPAREF distributed $314,100 to 113 students in 2022.

NAPA meetings are where peers come together and the industry takes shape. NAPA held three in-person meetings in 2022, while NAPA/APA also supported the re-launch of the North Central Asphalt User Producer Group. Taking the helm of meetings strategy and execution is NAPA’s newest employee, Kimberly Sumner, who joined NAPA in February.

2022 ANNUAL MEETING
After a virtual-only Annual Meeting in 2021, we were happy to be in person again in warm and sunny Scottsdale, Arizona. 782 attendees came to see the passing of the gavel, hear keynote Dr. Nido Qubein, and witness firsthand the launch of The Road Forward.

2022 MIDYEAR MEETING
Keynote speaker and “bowtie economist” Elliot Eisenberg captivated 345 Midyear Meeting attendees with an acrobatic tour of economic charts and graphs, setting the stage for an energetic and engaging meeting in Santa Barbara, California.
2022 IMPACT LEADERSHIP GROUP CONFERENCE
For the first time in two years, the IMPACT Leadership Group held its fall conference, drawing 53 attendees for intimate networking and learning. Events included a Safety DNA workshop and a tour of the MnRoad test facility.
WORLD OF ASPHALT 2022
The premier asphalt tradeshow returned for the first time since 2019, and it was one for the record books! 440 exhibitors and 11,400 attendees flocked to the Nashville, Tennessee event, making it the largest in World of Asphalt history.
